Js O3 Lite is a two column, beautiful clean WordPress theme without any plugins needed and it looks very elegant with the lovely orange color .

Not working correct with 1.5.8/1.5.8.2. Tabs are always down in the sidebar with FF 3.0.10.

Funny is, that the preview on wordpress.com is working in FF and IE7/8 for me...

???

I have tried that... Not working with the tabs. My Wordpress preview page as iframe or extra window is only white. Only when I activate the theme, it works but without correct tabs in sidebar.

The new settings in theme options are saved.

There are more problems at my site:

the close all / show all buttons in the comments do not work. Scrolling up the comments-page is not smooth scrolled like here on your page.

I think I have some script problems...

Do I need some additional plugins/scripts like lightbox / jqery or some special server settings?

Maybe i edit your sidebar and set static old fashion sidebar entries.

Thanks! I really want to use this theme with jqery and ajax as my next one.

Hi Jinwen,
I like your Theme and want to use it in my Blog.
At the Moment I´m still testing and have some problems.
I use some plugins, like wp-grins and wp ajax-edit comments. If these plugins are activ, the sidebar is broken, no tabs will be displayed. When I turn off wp-grins, the sidebar of the homepage is ok. But the sidebar of the singlepost page ist still broken. But I can post a comment. When I turn off the wp ajax-edit comments plugin, the sidebar on the singlepost page is ok, but I can´t post a comment. I also turn off all my plugins. But without any success. Do you have a turnaround for my problem?

  I have to block all my ajax related plugins: ajax-contact, ajax-edit-comments and lightbox plus in order to have sidebar tabs

  @roberto I am so sorry for that bcs this theme is include the JQuery in its code. There probably are the problem when we use some plugins which will add the JQuery code too. One way to resolve the problem is that we can remove the adding JQuery code in those plugins' files.

Hi Jinwen,
thanks for your reply. I will test the plugin in the next days. But my problem is, that your theme will not work, when all plugins are not active. Should I deinstall all my plugins? I also try it local on my mac with mamp. The theme will run, but if i post a comment, there will be an error.

The requested URL /wordpress/wp-content/themes/js-o3-lite/comments-ajax.php was not found on this server.

What does it mean? Thanks for your help.

I think it can also be a problem with the jquery versions. WP 2.7.1 uses as core older one jq 1.2.6.

Hello.

I've had the Firefox problem too untill I disabled the "Google Analyticator" plugin.

It seems that the code used by google analytics messes up your theme somehow.

Anyway, when will you release js o4? waiting for it.

I installed via Wordpress and not from your website and don't show all theme options. Should I reinstall all files from your site or just a specific file?

Lastly, I want to display the complete post on the home page instead of using the 'more' option so I get more of my keywords on the home page. Please direct me to make the change correctly.

@Jared if you update the newest version from this page in my site, you can choose to display a normal navigation botton in the home page instead of the "more" button, with the theme option.

Jinwen, I want to display my full post on the home page like it is on the single post page. So my home page would have '10' posts with full text on the home page instead of partial text and then 'more'.

What do I need to do so I don't lose my modifications in my current install when I install the most recent from your site?

Jinwen, would like to have the navigation bar stay the same on all pages, i.e. home, about, contact, etc. Currently theme shows 'comments' and a dates tab when I click on about, or contact, etc. How can I make the change so nav bar is consistent on every page?

Would also like to display the categories on every page. Currently does not display on the single post page.

Jinwen, the summary view of a blog post on the home page (have not made the change yet to display the full post and may like how you've designed it by default only showing a snippet) does not support any formatting on the first line of a post. I put a headline in or and it shows as regular text. What change do I need to make so it supports headlines and other formatting? Best,

  hi, you can change the code between line 19 and 37 in the index.php file with the following: [?php the_content(); ?] (change the symbol "[" and "]" to ""). After that, you can use the formatting like h1, h2 in the front page, and use the "more" tag to keep how long the post you want. Best.

  hi, I think the simplest way is edit the header.php file in the theme folder, and re-write the content which is in the "li" tags to what you want to show-up.

I like your Js O3 lite theme. But it is incompatible with NextGEN Gallery plugin.The loading screen is will not go away and the tab on the right sidebar does not show up. Is there any plan to release a new version to address this issue ?

Thanks for the great theme.

Is there a way to make the navigational tabs stay the same in every page, so that switching between pages is more straightforward. Now there is little difference between a page and a post.

  Do you want to a page-nav bar instead of the content/comment/trackback/ nav bar in the single post or page? If I set the page nav bar the same as in the homepage, that's no more the content/comment/trackback/ nav bar or I need to redesign them. So, why not using the widget to add the page nav in the sidebar? I think that's one way to show them.
